    After its humble beginnings as a social media platform, Facebook took about a decade and a half to become one of the biggest global businesses with billions of active monthly users. While advertisements are a major source of massive revenue generation, the company entered the e-commerce space in 2016 by launching the Facebook marketplace to achieve higher and faster growth. As the name suggests, the virtual market is a destination where buyers and sellers meet. Sellers can advertise their products or the entire shop on Marketplace and reach out to more people. However, the business doesn’t need to post directly on Facebook Marketplace UK as the platform allows individual posting for new and old items.

    Facebook Marketplace- How it Works?

    The Marketplace categorizes the products such as Clothing, electronics, Deals, Classified, Hobbies, Family, Entertainment, Home and Garden, Home Sales, Housing, and Vehicles. Listing any item on the Marketplace allow buyers to search for items they wish to buy. Besides item category, you can also search by location.     An active personal or business account on Facebook is essential to setting up a Facebook Marketplace account. Click on the ‘Marketplace‘ icon in the left-hand column. Click on ‘Continue’, agree to the terms and conditions, and you can set up your Marketplace profile.
