Some mysteries remain as mysteries for centuries. Science may have gone far enough to get some crucial findings on them, but generation after generations see them remaining unsolved. Yeti is one of them.
Scientists working on yetis may have a solid reason to be cheerful, as the mystery related to yeti may be solved now.
What is Yeti?
Yeti is an ape-like giant creature called the Abominable Snowman and is said to be found in the Himalayan mountain range.
Like other mysterious creatures, there are photos and videos of yetis, none of which are evident, and so-called witnesses claiming to have seen them.
The New Concept
An expert has recently claimed that he can solve the mystery of yeti, which has been doing the rounds for decades. Madhu Chetri, the researcher at National Trust for Nature Conservation in Nepal, said that the people residing in the northern villages warned him about the yeti.
Locals, according to Chetri, told him that they had seen yetis, and they walk like humans and are twice in size of humans. One of them said Chetri even claimed to have seen two yetis, one digging for a Himalayan marmot and the other lying like a human. Yetis can imitate the postures of human beings, added Chetri, as informed by the locals.
Madhu Chetri claimed he had shown evidence of yetis like hair and footprints. But the researcher doesn’t think that the creatures are something not-known-yet or some supernatural power. Instead, he believes they may be something like Tibetan brown bears. He stated that some brown bears in Tibet also live in Nepal.
Himalayan marmot is one of the main foods of Tibetan brown bears, said Madhu Chetri.
Dr. Chetri also thinks that the digging signs and footprints resemble Tibetan brown bears, and he was more confident about the creatures after seeing the bears in the wild.
