Elizabeth Hurley, 57, is the most recent member of the A-Listers to talk about Perry (53) following the publication of his memoir, “Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing,” – which is chock-full of anecdotes about his professional, romantic and personal life. Despite seeing the seriousness of Perry’s addictions firsthand, the British actress who co-starred with Perry in “Serving Sara” in 2002 has only partially read Perry’s book. The “Royals” star admitted to Yahoo that she has gone through the book excerpt but has not read the book yet.
Hurley continued by saying it was exciting. He is a humorous individual and a very witty writer. He has a terrific way with words and is a very talented comic. The model said she remembers him with great affection. It was a disaster dealing with him at the time. It is already known to all that his habit caused the closure of their movie.
Hurley’s Experience
Hurley was referring to the cancellation of the film “Serving Sara”, where Perry portrays a process server entrusted with delivering divorce papers to Hurley’s character. She remarked that they had to spend some time at home fidgeting because of implied terms. He was going through a difficult moment, but he was still charming and a pleasure to deal with. However, it was clear that he was in pain.
Perry discussed his drug addiction in his memoir and has been open about his recovery experience. For his part in “Friends,” which he played from 1994 to 2004, the Canadian native is likely best recognized.
