Another instalment of Twitter Files has come up on the social platform, and journalist Matt Taibbi released the sixth part. This part of the ongoing sensational saga claims to uncover the connections of the FBI to the microblogging site.
On Friday, Taibbi first wrote on his Twitter thread that the government’s links to the social media content are being revealed gradually through the series of Twitter threads. “TWITTER, THE FBI SUBSIDIARY,” wrote the independent journalist and author who now publishes Substack newsletter TK News after leaving Rolling Stone.
The latest Twitter files news, which is taking over the internet these days, apart from Elon Musk Twitter news, is the threads by Taibbi, Weiss and Michael Shellenberger.
Twitter Files 6- December 16
While discussing in detail Twitter files part 6, Taibbi wrote that Yoel Roth, former Twitter Trust and Safety chief, had 150 conversations via email with the FBI between January and November 2022.
He wrote that the FBI and Twitter contact was “pervasive” and “constant.”
The conversation included requests to the social media platform authorities to take necessary steps on election misinformation, along with joke tweets, added Taibbi.
To detect alleged election tampering and foreign influence, the FBI formed FTIF after the presidential election of 2016, a task force concentrated on social media, stated the thread by Matt Taibbi, adding that the task force grew to as many as eighty agents.
He also wrote that the government’s task of analyzing bulk data for various purposes is no secret.

Part 1- December 3
Twitter Files part one claimed that the microblogging platform suppressed the revelations by New York Post about President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden.
According to Taibbi, Twitter, in order to suppress the incident, took “extraordinary” steps such as blocking New York Post and stopping the users from sharing its stories temporarily. Eventually, Post faced suspension of its account from the social site for two weeks because of being reluctant to withdraw a story related to the same incident.

Part 2- December 9
Bari Weiss, another journalist who edits a Substack newsletter and is viewed as polarizing, continued the business of revelations and came up with the second part on December 9. The thread consisting of thirty-one tweets alleged that Twitter built ‘blacklists’ to restrict the users’ visibility regarding certain accounts or trending posts, keeping them in darkness.

Part 3- December 10
Taibbi released a Twitter thread on December 10 on banning Donald Trump’s account from the platform. He claimed to reveal what the world doesn’t know about Trump’s removal from Twitter and the riots at the Capitol.
In a series of tweets, Taibbi showed numerous images supporting his claims.

Part 4- December 11
Michael Shellenberger dropped the fourth part of the Twitter thread series. It was called “The Removal of Donald Trump: January 7” and made public on December 11, the day after the release of part three on Trump’s removal.
Shellenberger alleged that the Twitter executives were not at all worried about democracy or free speech, and they even sought a policy change to apply to Donald Trump only.

After this, there were a series of retweets and comments on the platform with reactions from different individuals and organizations. Some even called Twitter “totally compromised.”
This explains how the US Intelligence Community (deep state) got the foot into the Twitter door. What followed were social engineering and incentives to turn key Twitter staff into IC assets and get them to hire spies to begin the backdoor process.
