DNA Technology has completely transformed fields including Science, Medicine, and Agriculture by giving us the awesome insight to directly study and manage genetic material. Techniques such as sequencing DNA, PCR along with genetic engineering let us understand genes and identify mutations. We are dealing with DNA Technology for medical reasons; to identify genetic conditions and create custom treatments. Think of it like vaccines that are very personalized. Up until most recently with a pandemic, the developed world would get vaccines as soon as available but here too we get to use these technologies; DNA sequencing is key for identifying what the virus is and finding out what quickens it. As well in agriculture, we have genetic modification, and smart crops coming out that can resist bugs, and diseases and deal with extremes. Forensic science heavily profits too with DNA Technology. There is a growing discussion of ethical issues such as privacy and discrimination based on genetics but the odds of progress improving continue to grow. From there we can look toward making diseases curable, feeding whole populations, and exploring what life is on a deeper level, and medicine and science are setting the bar again and again. Research is progressing and with continued work, we think that the development of this technology will increase tremendously.
