Fans of the Star Wars series are already familiar with the character Boba Fett, a bounty hunter who became a fan favorite since appearing for the first time in ‘The Empire Strikes Back’. The book of Boba Fett that started streaming on the Disney+ during the fag end of 2021 is a creation of Jon Favreau and part of the Star War franchise. The story is set in a time after the Return of the Jedi in 1983 and was one of the big releases of 2021. However, an unnamed bounty hunter in the series Boba Fett was destined to as the next major villain alongside Darth Vader, who declared an award for anyone who could capture the crew of the Millennium Falcon.

Boba Fett was a huge fan favorite because of his calm demeanor and beautiful helmet. Despite his demise in the Return of the Jedi, Disney was compelled to revive the character in the Mandalorian just to respect the passion of Boba fans and their immense love for him. By announcing the book of Boba Fett’s release date, Disney tried to do justice to Star War fans by creating a television series dedicated to the beloved bounty hunter Boba Fett.

    The book of Boba Fett

In Disney’s Hollywood studios star wars spin-off, the story revolves around the bounty hunter who plays the pivotal role and the central character of the series. The television series portrays the bounty hunter in all his glory in a thrilling Star Wars adventure dominated by Boba Fett, the legendary bounty hunter who holds the center stage accompanied by Fennec Shand, a mercenary. Together, they navigate the galaxy’s underworld to become a dominant force by taking over the territory once under Jabba the Hutt’s control. The duo return to the sands of Tatooine to declare their absolute supremacy by defeating Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Setting the stage for the release

The television series started streaming the first episode on December 29, 2021. Still, before the release, the book of Boba Fett trailer shown in November helped build excitement and the right expectations necessary to create hype for increasing the TRP. After viewing the trailer, viewers got clear hints that the date of streaming the first episode was very close and, therefore, need not ask when the book of Boba Fett is coming out.

Over time, the Star Wars stories, including the latest series of Boba Frett, take a fan-service first approach that is distinctly visible. However, it is detrimental and does not do any good for the series. Even the title of the series seems poorly chosen, as viewers discover after the seven episodes that the season’s final stretch was an extension of the Mandalorian Season 2.

Despite the all-out attempt to render the best fan service by fulfilling their wishes, the book of Boba Fett lacks in commitment to make the fans drool. Instead, the fan service appears to be considerably suffocating. The biggest dismay is that no one could develop a deeper understanding of Boba Fett and his driving force at the end of the series.
