Tennis great Rodger Federer, 41, took to his Instagram profile to announce his retirement officially. He is set to play his last game in London next weekend, and Laver Cup will be held there next week.
Serena called it an end to her tennis career this month only after finishing the US Open singles tournament, where she lost in the third round.

The Grand Slam winner of 20 times went to the quarter-finals in Wimbledon games last year.
Federer was in the top position in the world for 237 weeks consecutively.
The Swiss maestro had recently undergone knee surgeries thrice as he had severe injuries.

The star showed gratitude towards all his fans, co-players, family, and friends. He said he wanted to return to his previous form and worked hard for it. But finally, he understood that this body was not permitting him anymore.
