Northern Lights Theatre Offered Free Screenings of ‘Barbie’

Located at 3893 Commercial St., the Northern Lights Theatre in Salem decided to screen some movies for free during the weekend that was in the mid-August week. “Barbie” one of the movies that they have showed for free. This exercise was part of the promotion with Pluto TV.

As mentioned above, it is part of Pluto TV’s Free Movie Weekend. They have designed the promotion in such a way as to support the country’s independent theatres.

There was an arrangement at the screening at Northern Lights movie theatre that all viewers who managed to get a seat for any movie at the theatre were entitled to a free small popcorn aside from various other gifts that were organized and offered by Pluto TV.

First Come, First Served

As far as the allotment of seats was concerned, it was on a first-come, first-served basis. To get a seat, people had to visit the box office present at the Northern Lights Theatre on any of the days before the screening and receive a seat that would be assigned only to them.

The moviegoers took their seats at least 30 minutes before the screening and showed the tickets so that they could receive the popcorn for free.

However, there was provision for the latecomers or the ones who could not manage to get tickets for the movie to approach the Northern Lights theatre and find out whether or not there were still seats empty. If there were, they could buy their tickets at the last minute before the screening started.

Barring on-the-spot tickets from the Box office, tickets were not made available online for the movie screenings.

There is a slide presentation that lasts for about 3 to 4 minutes. However, the theatre shows few previews and advertisements like the others.
