The Geminos range of folding monitors consists of dual screen monitors with a clamshell display. You can fold open the dual screens, connect them to your PC and adjust the displays to achieve an ergonomic alignment that ensures comfortable working for long hours. Those who prefer using ultra-wide monitors for work to ease the constant shuffling between windows and tabs would find the Geminos monitors perfect for their use. Almost 33% extra screen space of the ultra-wide monitors facilitates a better gaming experience too. However, placing two monitors side by side takes up extra space, and the monitors lack an ergonomic design. Stacking up one monitor upon another might be possible, but the Geminos monitors offer much more than the foldable design.
What is a Folding Monitor?
As the name suggests, a folding monitor is a single monitor that you can fold into two halves. Geminos folding monitors have a clamshell design that underlines the monitors’ functionality that enables folding a single display into two halves. The design allows users to adjust the positioning at any angle from fully closed to fully open for more flexibility. The design gives you more flexibility than any conventional stacked dual monitor setup.

Geminis Specifications
Geminis and Geminos X are the two models of folding monitors currently available. Both the monitors have almost the same specifications like a 1080p webcam, built-in speakers, two USB-A ports, two HDMI ports, an Ethernet port, a standard 3.5 mm audio jack, and USB-C with pass-through charging up to 100 W and TF/SD card reader. However, the generations of the USB and HDMI ports are unknown.
Although the built-in specifications are the same for both models, there is some variation in the actual displays. Both monitors have a 24-inches display with a pedestal stand and central hinge. The resolution of Geminos is 1080p at 60Hz with a brightness of 250 nits; the Geminos X has a 1440p resolution at 75Hz and 300 nits brightness.
While Geminis specifications seem fine for everyday use while ensuring high productivity, The Geminos X is suitable for content creators and those who enjoy watching visuals on a bigger screen.
Monitors for Content Creators
The folding monitor might seem fun for ordinary users. Still, the design is ideal for content creators and streamers who often prefer to use a stacked monitor set up or vertical monitor to keep an eye on their Discord channel and stream chats. However, the lack of 4K support of the monitors and the absence of information about color accuracy do not give an additional boost to productivity.
