Sad that after this week, there won’t be any more Star Trek for a while. With our first look at Strange New Worlds season 2 comeback, Paramount has you covered for those post-Picard blues.
The first teaser for the second season of the popular Trek prequel-sequel was released today by Paramount+. Strange New Worlds has slipped into its old-new mood as a pre-Original Series, post-Discovery season two, with confidence and comfort that lets it have a ton of fun in Trek’s traditional way, despite the confusing franchise language.
When will Release the Strange New Worlds Season 2?
The first season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which aired last summer, was fantastic, but there has been little information about the second season since then. Fans have been asking when they might expect to see Captain Pike (Anson Mount) and the fantastic crew of the USS Enterprise again since it was revealed that Season 2 had already been filmed. The cast of Strange New Worlds season 2 will return to the bridge on June 15, just in time for summer, according to a statement from Paramount.
So, the Star Trek Strange New Worlds season 2 release date will be June 15, with new episodes released every Thursday following.
Did You Watch the Trailer?
If this trailer of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2 is any indication that has stayed the same for season two. There is a lot of entertaining material in this episode, including the appearance of Carol Kane’s Pelia and the return of Paul Wesley’s James T. Kirk, as well as the advent of the Klingons and maybe what will turn out to be Gorn’s terrifying third battle.
Despite the action, there’s also fun stuff: laser blaring and spaceships flying. It’s an excellent show since the crew has fun together. This applies to banter on the Enterprise Bridge, during tasks, or friends hang out. In addition to replicating Trek’s old way of doing things, the first season displayed a strong camaraderie. It’s incredibly lovely to see that in Star Trek Strange New Worlds Season 2 as much as the actual space journeys.
What Should Fans Expect from Season 2?
While Strange New Worlds Season 2 is still in its early stages, we have received a few hints regarding the next episodes. Lower Decks actors Tawny Newsome and Jack Quaid joined mount on stage during the Star Trek Universe panel at San Diego Comic-Con to announce that Season 2 will include a crossover between the prequel and the animated series.
It’s still being determined how exactly these two programs will intersect, given that they are both set in very different eras of the Star Trek world. Nevertheless, Newsome mentioned during the announcement that the episode will have live-action performances from the Lower Decks ensemble and animated representations of the Strange New Worlds cast.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 1 is currently accessible on Paramount+ before Strange New Worlds season 2 launched.
