The Beijing 2022 Paralympics or the Winter Paralympics 2022 is the first edition of the Paralympic Games to be held in China. The event took place from 4th March to 13th March 2022 and was hosted by the city of Beijing. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) awarded Beijing with hosting rights for the Winter Paralympics in July 2015. This resulted from a bidding process that had been open since 2013. The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) organized the 13th Winter Paralympic 2022 sports.
