    Is AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine permanently stalled?

    AstraZeneca a global biopharmaceutical company brought a hope to the World around the month of April. AstraZeneca partnered with the scientists of Oxford University. They announced a landmark agreement for Covid-19 vaccine and named as azd1222.

    The first two trails were successful. Then the company carried on with the data collection from countries where Covid-19 vaccine trials were going on, like U.K., Brazil and South Africa. The third phase trail was undergoing in 60 locations in the U.S., Brazil and South Africa. The combined phase trials got cleared in India as well.

    But Astrazeneca recently revealed that the company decided to halt their trials as it resulted adverse conditions.

    Nevertheless, there is still hope that the Covid-19 vaccine maybe out by the end of the year 2021.
