How Many Calls Can You Merge on Your iPhone? Know How to Go about It

If you want to merge calls on your iPhone, you can easily do so and connect to five callers at once. This article will answer one of the most frequently asked questions, which are how many calls can you merge on iPhone?

Can you three-way call on your iPhone?

This article might come in handy for those professionals and entrepreneurs that frequently must be on conference calls to conduct business or connect with team members or management higher up in the hierarchy.

So, the question that must be answered here is how to do a group call on iPhone? Setting up a group or a conference call is an easy five-step process that will serve your purpose. However, just be informed that iPhone may not serve as a substitute for your extensive business phone system or one of the higher-end apps for iOS business phone apps. Yet, it can help you connect to five people at once, which should meet your instant needs.

Every single mobile operator or carrier supports audio conferences on iPhone. You will also be able to opt for a Group FaceTime with an iPhone that will help you to see as many as 32 participants simultaneously.

However, if you find that certain features mentioned here are not supported on your device, it is best to promptly talk to your service provider or carrier.

Can you make a 3-way call on your iPhone and what is the process?

    Check out these steps here.

    1. Make a call to the first number for the meeting and wait for him to answer.
    2. Next, tap on the “Add” button, which has a plus sign on the bottom left of the screen.
    3. Then dial the second number to call and wait till it connects.
    4. Next, tap on the “merge calls” button by pressing the arrow sign, which will appear as two-tailed, which you will find is pointing up to start the conference call.
    5. After that, you can add more participants by repeating steps 2 and 4.

However, remember, unlike Group FaceTime, where you can join 32 members, in conference calls on iPhone, there can be a maximum of up to five people you can dial to let them in.

How will you add an incoming call?

If you are already in a conference call, you will still be able to add someone if they had missed when you dialed their number. You can do the following to add an incoming caller-

    1. Press the “hold and accept” button on the right bottom of the screen when the call comes.
    2. Once he is connected, tap on the “merge” button on the bottom left of your screen.
    3. In case you do not see the “merge calls” option, it might so happen that your carrier or network service provider does not support this option.

The above-mentioned steps are to be followed to merge calls on an iPhone in the best way possible.
