Features of Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650cc Cruiser
- For cruisers, comfort and functional designs are crucial, and Royal Enfield is trying to ensure that Royal Enfield Meteor meets quality standards. Low seat height, much lower than 765mm of the Meteor 350, is a significant aspect that has been public. It will be favorable in terms of control and general ride characteristics. Even shorter people can ride the bike without any problem due to the low seat height. Riders can firmly place their feet on the ground due to the bike’s considerable weight and volume. It will be feasible with a modest seat height. The scooped seat of the bike provides back support and comfort, ideal for long-distance traveling. Wide handlebars and a forward-set foot further improve the functional designs.
- A new LED headlight will be another important component. A comparable LED headlight is there for the next Himalayan 450. Wheel sizes for the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 are 19 inches up front and 16 inches behind. The setup of the Meteor 350, which has a 17-inch rear wheel, differs slightly from this one. Super Meteor 650 is spotted wearing CEAT tires for the rubber. The company also ensured to provide its iconic alloy wheels for both and rear for a puncture-free riding experience.
- It is backed by a reliable 648cc parallel-twin engine that generates 46 bhp power and 57 NM of torque. Already this 648cc parallel-twin engine made its first debut in the year 2018 through
- Continental GT and Interceptor 650. The USD front forked suspension is a first for a Royal Enfield.
- Speaking of the engine, it is anticipated that the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650’s motor would also power the Super Meteor 650. The meteor 650’s engine will have a 648 cc, fuel-injected, four-stroke, parallel-twin motor with air-oil cooling that can provide a maximum output of 47 horsepower and a maximum torque of 52 NM. It has a slip-and-assist clutch and is connected to a 6-speed gearbox.
- Both ends will have disc brakes and dual-channel ABS to handle the braking.
- In terms of cost, the Royal Enfield super meteor 650 price is between Rs. 3 and 3.5 lakh.
- Super Meteor will have an entirely separate appearance aside from the familiar retro feel. Every component will be brand-new, including the fuel tank design, offset fuel filler cap, vintage winged emblem, side panels, and tail section. However, several parts from the Meteor 350 might be used, including the instrument cluster, switchgear, tripper navigation, and round LED tail light. The switch cubes are in a lighter tone of color than the typical black finish. Super Meteor will use a modified version of the chassis with 650 twins. A few alterations are anticipated based on the varied mounting locations for the foot pegs, rear brake pedal, and heel and toe shifter. The Motorcycle will have USD forks up front and two shock absorbers on the back.
- The fuel tank has a 15.7-liter capacity that will provide a long cruising ride on a full tank, 241 kg is the kerb weight (with 90% gasoline and oil).
- The solo tourer version of the Royal Enfield 650 super meteor will come in five shades: Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green.
