Elon Musk may be in deep water in his legal battle with Twitter due to his private chats. In preparation for October, the trial would decide the fate of the arrangement. Attorneys for the two parties once more squared up in Delaware’s Court of Chancery.
Musk’s usage of the secure texting program signal was one of the topics discussed during the longer than three-hour hearing. Twitter’s lawyers use a snapshot of a conversation involving Musk and Jared Birchall, the head of Musk’s family office. He supports their argument that Musk has already been suppressing messages exchanges through the app.
The discussion mentioned Morgan Stanley, Marc Andreesen, and communication concerning EU regulatory approval of Musk’s agreement with Twitter, as per its legal team. After Elon Musk and Birchall refuted utilizing Signal to discuss the agreement, Twitter’s attorney found a screenshot of that conversation. The mail was set up to delete, as even the screenshot demonstrated automatically.
Interestingly, Twitter’s attorneys have already utilized Musk’s messages to uphold the conditions of the original agreement with Musk. It is evident from the most recent hearing. Twitter’s attorneys previously brought attention to a text exchange between Musk and one of his Morgan Stanley bankers. Musk used his apprehensions about “World War 3” to justify dragging out his conversations with Twitter.

In the coming days, McCormick will decide on Twitter’s motion to penalize Musk. On October 17, a five-day trial will take place to decide the destiny of the agreement.
