Be prepared to negotiate the Everest Base Camp Trek of 5600m, equivalent to 18,373 ft. A night or two must be spent at 5,000 m or 16,404 ft above.

    Once you attain 4000m or 13,123 ft, you will feel out of breath and exhausted. This is because the amount of oxygen decreases. Coupled with higher altitudes, walking for two weeks is physically challenging.

    You will encounter the best weather between October and November. The second popular season is between April and early May. And if you want to avoid crowds and enjoy clear blue skies, take a few extra warm clothes and visit the haven between December and March.
