The last episode of the HBO series The White Lotus reveals the characters whose dead body has washed ashore in Italy’s Sicily at one of the locations of the resort chain mysteriously.
The second season of the mysterious comedy drama came to an end on December 11, showing which characters died. The second season of The White Lotus was started airing in October, revealing that two characters will surely die without hinting at whom they would be.
Except for the revelation of the fact that Daphne (Meghann Fahy) would survive, the mystery is kept unresolved carefully until the last episode of the last season.
Fans Kept Speculating
Since the viewers watched the first season and the seven episodes of the second one, there have been plenty of theories being cooked up about who will be the unlucky characters to die. The series was all through the episodes introducing a who’s who but didn’t reveal the final secret until the season’s end.
The Storyline
Lucia (Simona Tabasco), a sex worker, is romancing Albie (Adam DiMarco), who has been cheated on by Portia (Haley Lu Richardson).
The following episodes showed a confrontation between Albie and Alessio, Lucia’s pimp, after which Albie learns that Lucia needs huge money to be freed from Alessio’s control.
After an episode reveals two characters have died, the story goes through a time travel and shows the happenings since characters reached the hotel.
There are other characters like Mia, Lucia’s friend, and Ciao, after whom the first episode is named.
As the story unfolds, it seems like Lica and Alessio cooked up a scam plot for a rich holidaymaker.
