It took So Long for Jennifer Lopez to Overcome Breakup with Ben Affleck, Reveals the Singer

After twenty years of her breakup with Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez opens up about the feeling of parting ways. It was immensely painful for her, as much as she felt like dying.

The singer talked about her latest album, which is inspired by Affleck, and revealed what he said about the seemingly personal lyrics.

    The Forthcoming Album

While talking about her upcoming album This Is Me… Now, a sequel to This Is Me… Then of 2002, the fifty-three-year-old singer explained the feeling to be incredible and amazing. She said she wants to capture the beautiful moment in time as it’s more excellent than the first time.

    About Lopez and Ben

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck married each other twice. They broke their engagement initially in 2004. Talking about it, Lopez said it was her life’s biggest heartbreak, and she couldn’t get out of it for the next eighteen years. She also talked about the dream-like happy ending they had.

After Affleck and she were together for the second time, added the singer, he asked her why she didn’t perform in the songs of the album This is Me… Then, which were about him.

She said she tried hard and succeeded in moving on and surviving.

The album is so special to her because it captured the moment she fell in love. She cherished the moments of writing the songs and also said that she doesn’t thoroughly remember how she felt then.

    What Happened then?

She blamed the media frenzy for their relationship being destroyed for the first time. But Jennifer Lopez also mentioned that they geared themselves professionally after their marriage ended to recover from the wounds. The breakup fueled the urge within both of them to prove themselves.

What about This is Me… Then?

This Is Me… Now, just like This is Me… Then, is seemingly going to feature personal lyrics.

This is Me… Now will come out in 2023.
